About Cencap

Cencap Federal Credit Union is the new and improved Hartford Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union. Our ideals are the same as when we started in 1950, but our vision for the future and services we offer demanded we keep up with the times. We no longer just service Hartford area Municipal Employees, but rather we offer our services to anyone who lives, works, learns or prays in certain underserved areas in or around the city of Hartford. This is an exciting time for us and we look forward to servicing our current members while reaching out to a new group of members.

*Appointments are optional for account openings, loan closings, wires transfers, and disputes. We are currently allowing walk-ins but masks are required upon entry, and temperature checks will take place at the door. We encourage you to continue to use our drive-up teller windows for transactions when possible.
