Branch Closing

We want to let you know of an upcoming change at your Credit Union

Thank you for your continued trust in Cencap. We work hard to deliver the most competitive products, services, and overall best experience for our members. Over the years, we’ve brought easy-to-use electronic services like Mobile Banking, Remote Capture Deposit and Card Valet just to name a few. Members have responded by using them more each day. The ease of online banking without having to come into a branch has impacted some branch locations. With fewer members using branches and having other close-by locations, we’ve decided to close two branch locations and use those resources to better benefit our members.

Branch Closings 

Effective February 28, 2019, we will be closing our 523 Main Street, Hartford and 77 Hartland Street, East Hartford locations. These branches have experienced greatly reduced usage and can no longer operate efficiently.

Direct Deposit

Save time while you enjoy the peace of mind of having your paycheck, social security payment or any other item directly deposited into your Cencap checking or savings account. Skip the traffic or waiting in line at the ATM. Set-up your Direct Deposit today!

Remote Capture Deposit

With our mobile app, you can now deposit checks anywhere. Only certain phones can access this new feature. In order to use this feature, you must first download our free mobile banking app “Touch Banking”. Once downloaded you can find the remote deposit caption option after you set your app up with your personal account information.

Card Valet

Designed to give members more control over their debit cards. With this app, you can lock and unlock your debit card, set up balance alerts and restrictions based on location, merchant, spending limits, All this to help you budget your debit card spending. It’s an easy download and you’re ready to go!

You will never pay a surcharge again when you use your Cencap Visa Check Card at any of over 55,000 ATMs nationwide in the Allpoint ATM network and SUM.
